Why is the 6.0 release taking so long?
The 6.0 code starts with the 5.x code. Thus, any problems that are in the 5.x code are likely to appear in the 6.0 release.
We decided that having a stable 5.x release so that we would have a stable 6.0 release was very important and have been concentrating on fixing the 5.x issues.
Version 6.0 of HRD already has many features done and ready to go, and we are working on many more. We will have it out as soon as possible when it is ready.
